Second Nature is a plant-led garden practice working across the entire lifecycle of a garden—from its identity and brand strategy to design, build and long-term stewardship.
We work with plants as living systems, considering how gardens grow, adapt, and evolve over time.

A garden is never truly finished. Completion marks the beginning of its next phase of growth. We see stewardship not as maintenance, but as the continuation of design. Combining 3D scanning, environmental analysis, and accumulated planting knowledge, we build an evidence-based understanding of living landscapes and develop strategies that allow design intent to endure, adapt, and mature through time and seasonal change. This is Second Nature: deepening the connection between people and nature while bringing design to its fullest expression.
